2008 Barack
Still Favourite Despite Pennsylvania Hillary Clinton's
odds for the US Presidential Election have been cut
from 11/2 to 5/1 by William
Hill
after her success in Pennsylvania. However, Barack
Obama is still hot favourite at even money with
John McCain 11/8 second favourite. Al Gore is a
25/1 chance. Hillary Clinton's
win was vital for her campaign but was hardly
unexpected, meaning that bookies have only tweaked
their odds as a result and shortened her
slightly. William Hill now
make Obama 2/9 to win the Democrat nomination, with
Hillary 3/1 and Al Gore 14/1. The Democrats are
8/15 favourites to win the Election with the
Republicans at 11/8. |
