2008 Eurovision -
Will Wogan Walk? Terry Wogan is
priced at just 3/1 with William
Hill for
Saturday night to be his last time presenting The
Eurovision Song Contest for the BBC. William Hill are
confident that Jonathan Ross will Terry Wogan's
replacement and he has been backed in from 6/1 to
13/8 to do so. Russia are the
11/4 favourites to win on Saturday with UK entrant
Andy Abraham the 66/1 outsider. William Hill are
offering 7/1 that Andy wins the unwanted accolade
of failing to gain a single point. "A number of our
punters think that if the UK have another terrible
showing in the Eurovision it could well be the
catalyst for Terry Wogan to walk out on the
programme in protest." said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams. Bet On
