The latter sparked a huge ante-post gamble in the Wokingham last year before going off 4-1 favourite, and since then has racked up wins in the Stewards' Cup and Abernant Stakes. Bookies Going With The Betting Kate Miller, Spokeswoman for William Hill, said: "These two handicaps usually spark some of the biggest gambles for Royal Ascot, and that looks likely to remain the same this year. The fields are made up of totally unexposed horse such a Bankable, and the old guard who may not have had their swansong yet. We're happy to put our heads above the parapet and go up with the betting, but things will certainly be hotting up as the punters spot their fancies and weigh-in.'' |
