Favourite For Captain's Armband Bookmakers
William
Hill have
installed Kevin Pietersen as their 1/2 favourite to
captain the England One Day side when they face
South Africa in August. The bookies also
offer 7/2 Ian Bell, 8/1 Strauss, Cook and 10/1
Michael Vaughan. William Hill are
offering betting odds of 5/1 that Collingwood has
done his long term career damage and that he will
not captain the England one day side again in
2008. "In Collingwood's
absence, we think Kevin Pietersen is the standout
choice for the England captaincy and you might find
