2008 Punters Tip
Tony Blair Comeback With Gordon Brown
again under fire following the Henley
By-Election Defeat,
bookies William
Hill
report a lively interest from punters in who his
successor might be. After a flurry of
bets, William Hill have had to cut Tony Blair from
100/1 to 33/1 to make a shock comeback. "Blair would need
to win a by election - no easy feat for a Labour
candidate at the moment - and win over many who
were delighted when he quit. However, politicians -
like boxers - never seem to know when to retire and
stay retired." said William Hill's spokesman Graham
Sharpe. |
