odds on at 1/2 that Prince William and Kate
Middleton will get engaged in 2008. The bookies are
offering betting odds of 6/4 that they do not get
engaged this year. "We have felt for
some time that it is a question of when, not if,
the royal couple get engaged and the odds suggest
that it is more likely to occur this year than
next." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert
