Bentley - Arshavin For Premiership? Bookmakers
William
Hill have
priced up the number of David Bentley goals for
Spurs this season and six or less is their 11/10
favourite. The move to Spurs
has not improved his chances of playing in
England's next competitive match against Andorra
and William Hill are offering 8/11 that Beckham
starts and 1/1 that Capello goes for
Bentley. Euro 2008
sensation Andrei Arshavin is still being courted by
a number of Premiership clubs but William Hill are
8/13 that he will not be signed to a Premiership
club by day one of the season. "Bentley is a
very good player and we think that his move to
Spurs will improve his chances of becoming the
long-term replacement for David Beckham but not
just yet." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert
