29 July
2008 Tuesday Horse
Racing - 29 July 2008 We had to go back
a couple of centuries to find someone we reckoned
was notable enough to include in our daily "Here's
Who Was Born On This Day" filler bit. Even then, he
was decidedly second rate at what he
did. Benito Mussolini
was the Robbie Savage of dictators. Hard to ignore,
funny as hell to look at, talked a lot but had
bugger all to say and was largely ineffective at
what he was ultimately trying to do. Unfortunately
that's where the comparisons end as Mr Savage has
yet to be hung upsidedown in a public square to be
spat on by passers-by. Give it time. Who'll dictate
todays racing action from Beverley, Goodwood,
Perth, Worcester and Galway? Don't forget,
Paddy
Power
also pay out on disqualified winners and official
result on all UK and Ireland horse
races. Click

riders

Paddy
Power -
place a £10 bet and Paddy Power will give you
a free £20 bet just for the sheer hell of
it. |
