software is now available to Maltese licensees and
operators, as the world's largest provider of
Online
Casino
and Poker
software, continues its partnership with
Malta. Microgaming has
already received online gaming licences for its
casino and poker products by The Lotteries and
Gaming Authority (LGA) - Malta, and the addition of
a gaming license for bingo will enable it to
service its growing base of operators in the
EU. Malta - the first
EU member state to regulate remote gaming, offers
four classes of remote gaming license, with
applicants undergoing probity checks as part of a
wider fit and proper exercise, business and
technical assessment, and finally a compliance
audit. Roger Raatgever,
