Men Behaving Badly

With the Football League's Respect campaign in full flow prior to the start of the Premier League on Saturday, bookies VC Bet (Victor Chandler) have opened a market on which one of the Big Four will have the worst disciplinary record.

"For the last three years Chelsea's record has been by far the worst, and last season they were joint top of the worst offenders list with six red cards." commented VC Bet's spokesman Neal Wilkins.

"But a new manager and new set of rules on behaviour might change all that, and we suspect it will be much closer this season."

Arsenal finished last season with 3 reds and 54 yellows, with Manchester United close behind on 2 reds and 51 yellows.

Liverpool have been squeaky clean in the last two seasons with only one red cards in all that time.

"The big question is whether Chelsea can get their act together and stay out of trouble this season." added Wilkins. "They are beginning to get an unwanted reputation."
