2008 England World
Cup Odds On Drift After a poor
performance against Czech Republic, England have
been lengthened from 10/1 to 11/1 to win the World
Cup by William
Hill who
have also lengthened them from 11/8 to 6/4 to win
their forthcoming World Cup qualifier in
Croatia. "The performance
of an England side apparently rated as good as Euro
2008 winners Spain by their coach suggests either
that he is a poor judge or that England players had
the off-night to end all off-nights." England
goal-scorer Joe Cole is rated at 5/4 to start the
match against Croatia by William Hill who offer 4/7
that he will not. David Bentley is 11/4 to start
and 1/4 not to. |
