2008 Bookies Close
Betting On Wogan Retiring From
Eurovision Bookies
William
Hill have
closed their betting on Terry Wogan not presenting
the Eurovision following a splurge of bets that
suggest that Terry has already made the
decision. "We needed to nip
this in the bud and we are now all but certain that
the Eurovision will not be presented by Terry Wogan
in 2009." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert
Adams. William Hill rate
Jonathan Ross as their 7/4 favourite to be the BBC
anchorman in 2009 with Eamonn Holmes second
favourite at 3/1. But whoever presents, William
Hill are 66/1 that the UK win and just 2/1 that
they come last. |
