2008 US PGA -
Punters Get Their Claws Into Top Ten The final Major
of the year, the USPGA, starts tomorrow and once
again the absence of Tiger Woods has acted as a
stimulus to the betting with William
Hill
seeing a record six figure turnover on
Wednesday. "We are seeing
money for all the big names with the notable
exception of the Open winner Padraig Harrington who
is largely friendless. The absence of Tiger Woods
means that the field are all double digit prices
and we are ecstatic with the turnover." said
William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams. |
