2008 F1 Betting
Odds It wouldn't be
the first time a man hasn't pulled his hose out in
time and ended up causing a whole lot of
trouble. This time, it was
one of Felipe Massa's pit crew who didn't withdraw
in time, leaving the Brazilian to drive off with
the petrol hose still attached to his car. This
earned him a penalty which dropped him from first
to last in the Singapore Grand Prix. That blunder
allowed Alonso to take the win in the first ever
night race but more crucially it saw Lewis Hamilton
extend his lead in the drivers championship to
seven points. A healthy lead with just three races
to go. The incident has
a hint of karma about it after the English driver
was deprived of victory in Belgium because of a
harsh penalty of his own. Will Lewis now go on to
prove who is the best driver in F1? Betting Odds
