The Fillies' Mile winner was the winter favourite for the 1000 Guineas with firms following a solid win in the Ascot race in September 2007, but set-backs have caused her to miss the bulk of the 2008 season. Hills offer 8-1 about the daughter of Sadlers Wells making a winning return to racing on Saturday. Already endowed with an extremely strong hand in the race, Irish supremo Aidan O'Brien also holds a further two entries in the shape of 2007 Cherry Hinton winner You'resothrilling (14-1)-another Ballydoyle filly hoping to make a comeback to racing-, and recent Listed winner Psalm (16-1). Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: "This is arguably the best race of the card on Saturday, with strength and depth right throughout the field. Lush Lashes deserves her place at the head of the betting, but there is no denying she can sometimes be a tricky ride to get right - as Halfway to Heaven showed at Goodwood. The comeback of two very promising fillies from last year makes life interesting, as Ballydoyle clearly feel these two Group winners have more to offer on the course than in the breeding paddocks." |
