2008 Darts Betting
- World Grand Prix In news that
won't exactly rock the earth to it's core, it seems
no-one quite does masses of drunken people shouting
at a dartboard the way the Irish do masses of
drunken people shouting at a dartboard. That's the view
of former world number one, Colin Lloyd as he is
looking forward more than most to the World Grand
Prix in Dublin. Giving himself an
ego-boost, Jaws explained, "I've actually got a
very, very good record in Ireland" before realising
he was talking about himself a bit too much and
throwing a compliment in the direction of his
hosts, "The great thing about Dublin is the Irish
folk. They always create a good vibe so it's always
a pleasure to go and play there." With a very, very
good record on Irish soil, is Lloyd worth a punt at
22/1? Betting Odds
