Binocular remains the 6-1 favourite for the Champion Hurdle with William Hill, while the defending Champion hurdler Katchit can be backed at 13-2 to retain his crown with the same firm. William Hill's Irish spokesman Tony Kenny commented: "The fact that this performance came on ground that wasn't to liking made his victory even more impressive." He continued: "Visually, it was a magnificent display by Jered and today's win entitles him to be considered as one of the leading contenders for this season's Champion hurdle." |
