2008 Catlin For
Another All-Weather Award After romping
home with last season's All-weather Jockeys'
Championship, William
Hill have
installed the defending champion Chris Catlin as a
5-4 chance to notch up successive victories in the
Winter contest. The 26-year-old
scored 72 victories last season, to finish well
ahead of his nearest rival Kirsty Milzareck - who
rates as a 25-1 chance with Hills to go one better
than last year. 2007 champion
Neil Callan is quoted as 11-2 second-favourite,
ahead of Lingfield expert George Baker at 7-1, with
former jump-jockey Jim Crowley available at
10-1. Kate Miller,
spokeswoman for William Hill, said: "Chris Catlin
made it a runaway success in last year's contest,
knocking the opposition for six, and he thoroughly
deserves his place at the head of the betting. His
rivals may not give-way to his domination this year
however, with the likes of George Baker gaining
respect hand-over-fist, and Hayley Turner enjoying
the best season of her life." Try your luck at
