Unimpressed With Darling Punters do not
believe that Alistair Darling's pre-Budget
announcements have improved Labour's chances of
winning the next General Election, say bookmakers

Hill. "We have not take
a single bet of over £10 for Labour to win the
next General Election since Alastair Darling's
revelations." said William Hill's spokesman Graham
Sharpe. The bookies still
make them 2/1 outsiders to be the largest single
Party after the next Election, with the

General Election as they are the only main
political party to have stated in their manifesto
that they intend to repeal the hugely unpopular
smoking ban, which has led to a massive number of
