Other freezing wagers include a quote of 500/1 that Loch Ness freezes and 500/1 that a natural iceberg is seen in the English Channel. "If the Thames freezes then we are in for a chilly reception when we return to work after the holiday - but we are not losing too much sleep over the iceberg bet." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams. |
