Slumdog Millionaire is now 4/11 (1.36) favourite for Best Film having been cut from 8/15 (1.53) with Kate Winslet shortened from 8/11 (1.72) to 8/13 (1.61). "Short priced favourites tend to attract high rollers and the early signs are that we are in for a record Oscar betting turnover." said William Hill's spokesman. |
