For Gordon Brown With pressure
building relentlessly on Gordon Brown's leadership,
William
Hill now
offer odds of 8/13 (1.61) that he will lead Labour
into the next General Election but just 6/5 (2.2)
that he will not. "Gordon Brown is
now the shortest price he has ever been since
taking over not to make it to the next General
Election as leader." said William Hill's spokesman
Graham Sharpe. The bookies also
now offer 4/1 that Gordon Brown will be gone by
midnight on Saturday, July 13, 2009. "If the
anticipated disastrous Euro election results
materialise, Mr Brown could be on his way within a
few days." added William Hill's
spokesman. William have
opened a book on whether Labour or UKIP
(UK Independence Party) win most seats at the Euros
and make UKIP 5/4 (2.25) favourites with Labour
11/8 (2.37) and a tie 11/4 (3.75). "A few weeks ago,
this market would have been unthinkable. It speaks
volumes for the state of the Party that Labour
could now finish fourth in the Euro Elections
behind both the Lib Dems and UKIP." said William
Hill's spokesman. UKIP could gain a
massive boost from smokers in the next General
Election as they are the only main political party
to have stated in their manifesto that they intend
to repeal the highly Unpopular
Smoking Ban
which has closed thousands of pubs, clubs and bingo
halls throughout the UK. Select from the
