believe that Phil Vickery will miss out on a start
for the British and Irish Lions in their opening
Test against South Africa - quoting him at 11/10 to
play and 4/6 not to. "Vickery is
desperate to start, but we think he may miss out."
said William Hill's spokesman Graham
Sharpe. The bookies have
also opened a book on several other players in the
squad to start in the first test - and offer 4/9
that Shane Williams will, 13/8 that he won't, 2/1
for Ugo Monye to start, 4/11 not to. The Lions are 9/4
