Big Brother has been broadcast on Channel 4 since it started back in 2002. Channel 4 have said they will honour its agreement to screen series 11 next summer. Big Brother has suffered from falling ratings in recent years and despite the current series being better than recent years, it has been the least watched. At its peak, Big Brother attacted 8 million viewers. Big Brother is not expected to disappear completely and there is a very real prospect of Endemol securing a deal with another channel. Bookmakers continue to see money for Sophie to win the latest series of Big Brother and she is now the 9/4 (3.25) favourite to be crowned the winner. |
