2010 Ashcroft
Backed To Be Gone By Election Day Bookies
William
Hill are
offering odds of 3/1 that Lord Ashcroft will cease
to be Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party
before the General Election takes place. "We have cut our
odds from 5/1 to 3/1 for Ashcroft to go before the
election after a string of punter enquiries." said
William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. "However, we
think he will probably ride out the storm and make
him 2/9 (1.22) still to be in the role on the day
of the election." UKIP
(UK
Independence Party)
could gain a massive boost from smokers in the next
General Election as they are the only main
political party to have stated in their manifesto
that they intend to repeal the highly unpopular
smoking
ban. Place Your Bets -
