2010 Chris Evans
Cut For The BBC Chop Bookies
William
Hill have
cut the price of Chris Evans leaving the
Radio
2
breakfast programme from 4/1 to 3/1 before the end
of the year and offer 16/1 that Terry Wogan will
return full time. The bookies are
also offering odds of 4/1 that Chris Evans has lost
less than a million listeners since taking over but
the favourite at 4/7 (1.57) is between one and two
million. "It is inevitable
that Chris will have lost over a million plus
listeners since taking over but as long as the BBC
stick by him, we think there is a chance he will
have increased the number of listener to eight
million by Christmas." said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams. Place Your Bets -
