2010 Mark Hughes
Backed To Be Next Villa Aston
Manager Bookies
William
Hill are
taking bets on who will next take control of Aston
Villa, following the departure of Martin O'Neill
just five days before the start of this
season. Mark Hughes has
been backed from 12/1 to 3/1 favourite to become
the next Aston Villa manager, despite having only
recently joined Fulham. "Punters whose
opinions we respect have been backing Hughes so
we've been left with no option but to slash his
odds, regardless of the fact that he has barely
started his Fulham career." said William Hill's
spokesman Graham Sharpe. The bookies make
Sven-Göran Eriksson the 7/2 (4.5) second
favourite and also offer 4/1 Kevin MacDonald, 6/1
David Moyes, 8/1 Alan Curbishley, 10/1 Houllier,
Koeman or Klinsmann, 11/1 Southgate and finally
12/1 for Lambert or Bradley. |
