Update
and Blog - Thursday, 05 June 2008 We didn't really
get chance to update the blog here yesterday but
that doesn't mean that we were not mega-busy
updating the site - quite the opposite, and that's
why we didn't get chance to write about
it. What were we
doing? Read on and you shall be
enlightened. Fortune Lounge
Hit The Blacklist We mentioned a
couple of days ago that we've decided to 'out'
Online
Casinos
who damage the name of our industry by acting
unethically - which could be spamming, using
spyware/scumware, not paying players in a timely
manner or not paying at all or running
unfair/rigged games. Now, it's only
right that we point out that the VAST majority of
online casinos are extremely trustworthy and only
market via ethical means. However, when some shady
operator decides not to play fair and spam the hell
out of the world then they need to be bollocked for
it. So we've added a Casino Blacklist to Casino
Beacon and the first cowboys to make the list are
the Fortune Lounge group of casinos who have been
spamming the living hell out of us, via dodgy
affiliates, for far too long. And it's pretty safe
bet that if they're spamming us then they'll be
spamming you too. And don't think
we've jumped the gun on this one. Fortune Lounge
know that their affiliates are spamming because
we've told them. Several times. And they apparently
have no plans to stop the spam because they'd
rather take a quick buck and allow the name of
online gambling to be dragged through the mud. All
in the name of profit. So, Fortune
Lounge (yeah, we know you're reading this), if you
want to get off the public Casino Blacklist then
clean up your act and stop allowing your affiliates
to send spam. We've met you many times at
conferences and casino shows and discussed the
issue with you so this is hardly news to
you. For those who are
not aware, Fortune Lounge have a long, sordid
history of spamming and they even had their domains
taken down because of it. We'd like to see that
happen again and we're making every effort to see
that it does. Watch this space. In the meantime,
we can't recommend enough that you STAY AWAY from
all of the online casinos in The Fortune Lounge
Group: 7 Sultans Casino, Desert Dollar Casino,
Fortune Room Casino, Platinum Play Casino,
PokerTime, Royal Vegas Cantonese Casino, Royal
Vegas Casino, Royal Vegas Poker, Vegas Palms
Casino, Vegas Towers Casino and Vegas Villa
Casino. Put it this way,
if you register as a player there then they'll need
your contact details and you definitely don't want
them to get hold of your e-mail address. Updates And
More Moving onto more
pleasant matters, we've been working like nutters
updating pages and adding new content to Casino
Beacon over the last day or two. The
Online
Casino Reviews
section continues to expand and look more wonderful
every day. This time we've given All
Jackpots Casino
a very in-depth review. Grab a cuppa and take a
look - the review is over 3000 words long so it's
pretty intense! We've also
expanded the Progressive
Jackpots
section and the USA
Accepted Casinos
page. We also added to
the Site
Map but
that not exactly going to set your world on fire,
is it? There was
probably loads more that we've done but can't
remember. I'm sure it was all good. |
