Update
and Blog - Thursday, 12 June 2008 There's more
bleary-eyed tiredness at Casino Beacon HQ today. We
ended up at another late-night poker game courtesy
of Reefer
Poker. On
the plus side, we finished in second place from
some sixty-odd players. Yay us! So what have we
been up to in the last few days? Plenty,
thanks for asking. We've been going bananas adding
loads of News
Stories
and articles. We've added to the admittedly
still-sparse Online
Bingo
section and we've added more casinos to the
USA
Accepted Online
Casinos
page. We've also been
kept rather busy with the Big
Brother Betting
and it's all gearing up rather nicely. But what's
kept us really busy is the addition of a
section called Casino
Software.
The majority of Online
Casinos
do not develop their own software to power the
casino games. Instead, they usually license
established casino game software from a specialised
provider. For example, William
Hill Casino's
games are powered using software by a company
called Cryptologic.
Now, spend any time playing at William Hill Casino
or any other online casino that uses Cryptologic's
software and you'll find that it's a very similar
experience to playing at any other Cryptologic
Casino - they all have the same feel but will have
a slightly different design and layout. To see what
we mean, have a play at William Hill Casino
and then check out, for example, Intercasino.
Because they both licence their games software from
the same place, things feel very similar So, if you have a
particular preference for a specific type of casino
games software, you now have a way of checking out
only those online casinos that use that software.
Neat, huh? Remember that
Casino Beacon is continuously updated throughout
the day so do pop back to the site throughout the
day. It's probably worth Bookmarking
Us for an
easy return. |
