Update
and Blog - Tuesday, 20 July 2010 If you've been
paying any attention to Casino Beacon over recent
weeks then you'll have noticed a number of changes
- some quite subtle but others much more
prominent. We've dumped a
huge amount of stuff that we no longer think is
relevant for the site, namely the sports and
entertainment betting sections. We've also removed
the specific sections we had for online bingo,
backgammon, rummy, skill games and quite a bit
more. We'll still cover relevant news and
promotions for all these events in our
News
& Articles
pages but they no longer warrant their own sections
of the site. After all, the site is called Casino
Beacon, not Bingo/Big Brother/Sports/Lottery
Beacon. It all comes down
to making the decision to focus more on our
Online
Casino Reviews
because we think it's what we do best and we
genuinely think we do it better than any other
website on the net. That may sound like a bold
statement but we stand by it. We're by no means the
only website that reviews UK
Online Casinos
and we encourage you to take a look at some of our
competitors to see how they do things. A quick
search on Google for 'uk online casino reviews'
shows over half a million results. Yahoo brings up
328,00 results and the same search on Bing
(Microsoft's search engine) brings up a
whopping 3.2 million results. All three of these
search engines display CasinoBeacon.co.uk on the
first page of the results - with good
reason. We're not going
to mention any of these other sites by name (that's
not our style) but we're happy to point out
some differences. Yes, most of the other so-called
'review sites' listed have a reviews section but do
they mention any bad points in their reviews? Do
they explain the playthrough requirements of
bonuses? Do they make any criticisms? Do they hell.
You will not find reviews for bad casinos because
the sites are there for only one reason - to make
you think the casinos they list are
great. We are unable to
find even ONE other site that
apparently reviews UK online casinos where the
review isn't just a sales-pitch to get you to click
through to the casino and make a deposit. These
websites are not what they pretend to be. They are
NOT review sites - they are there to get you off
the page as quickly as possible and onto the casino
via their commission-generating link. You'll also
find out of date bonuses and listings for dodgy,

us off. Go on. Do a
search and see what's out there. We think you'll be
back. So that's why
we've decided to concentrate most of our efforts on
our niche of REAL independent reviews of
online casinos - good or bad. If a casino is great
then that's what we'll say - but we'll also tell
you if they suck. We encourage other UK casino
portals to offer their visitors a similar level of
honesty and integrity. Stop recommending crap
casinos - it's not all about the money . Your
visitors will be far safer and you'll sleep better
