2008 Unibet Takes
Microgaming Casino Platform The
Online
Casino
sofware provider Microgaming
has announced it has signed a deal to provide
Unibet with its download casino
platform. The announcement
strengthens the already successful partnership
following Unibet's decision to join the Microgaming
Poker
Network in 2006 and their recent decision to renew
the poker agreement on a multi-year
basis. The move will see
Unibet Casino players gain access to the best
Casino
Games in
the business, including Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The
Osbournes and Hitman - three of the industry's
biggest licensing deals. Players will also
be able to try their luck at winning some of the
biggest Progressive
Jackpots
around through the Microgaming Progressive Jackpot
Network. The progressive total currently sits at
just under €7 Million, with the four-tiered Mega
Moolah at a tantalizing €3.6 Million. Petter Nylander,
CEO Unibet says, "Since joining the Microgaming
Poker Network, we've enjoyed a strong working
partnership, and so this decision has actually been
straightforward. Microgaming's Casino software has
an outstanding reputation in the industry for
delivering cutting edge, graphic rich games, and
one of the most reliable platforms in the business
- critical when running any online
operation." Roger Raatgever,
CEO, Microgaming comments, "We are delighted that
Unibet has decided to extend our relationship with
the addition of our proven casino platform and very
much look forward to a continued successful
partnership. In the last year we've achieved a
number of major initiatives that will significantly
benefit our operators and have a strong pipeline of
innovative tools and games coming this year to
power operator profits, so when a partner such as
Unibet picks us to power multiple software
products, it's further proof that we are delivering
where it counts." Microgaming's
games can be played at Spin
Palace Casino
or Golden
Reef Casino. |
