Review SuperCasino
Review Welcome
Bonus: Our
Rating: Introduction SuperCasino
is an online casino that provides
traditional
random-number-generated casino
games as well as 'live dealer'
casino games, where you can play
against a real, human dealer and
with other players. In addition
to being able to watch the live
dealer games via your computer or
mobile phone, you can also watch
the live dealer roulette games on
TV, as we'll explain in more
detail later in this casino
review. Getting
Started If
you've played at a few online
casinos before then you'll know
that most casinos offer both a
'download' and a 'no download'
version. SuperCasino is a no
download only casino, meaning
that you don't need to download
any software to your computer.
All games are played via your
browser. This means that getting
started is pretty painless -
simply register a new player
account and you'll be ready to
start playing. Casino
Games In
many ways, SuperCasino is like
any other online casino. You can
choose to play roulette, slots,
blackjack, video poker and any of
the other games just as you could
at any casino. The main
difference here is the addition
of 'live dealer' games where you
can watch the action live on your
computer screen or television
(Channel Five or Sky
866). SuperCasino's
live dealer games are available
when playing roulette, blackjack
and baccarat. If you want to
watch the action on your TV then
you're restricted to roulette.
The following schedule explains
when you can watch on
TV: Betting
and watching live on TV is lots
of fun and things play out very
smoothly. We tested SuperCasino's
live dealer roulette games on
some very slow internet
connections, including a number
of different 'mobile broadband
dongles' (notorious for lousy
internet speeds) and we were
surprised at just how playable it
is. It's very reassuring to see a
real, live dealer and a real
roulette wheel determine the
results of your bets, rather than
a faceless random number
generator. The
games at SuperCasino are powered
by Playtech Software, one of the
world's leading online casino
software developers. There are
some big-name licenses to be
found here, including the
following slots games - Rocky,
Pink Panther, The Incredible
Hulk, Fantastic Four and Iron
Man. If
you're not ready to deposit yet
or just want to test the waters
before risking real money, you
can play all of SuperCasino's
games for fun with no risk or
real money involved - including
the live dealer games! Even with
no real money to be won (or
lost), these fun play games can
be very entertaining. Open an
account for free and you can play
along, watching the action on
your television and it won't cost
you a penny. Deposit
Bonus and Wagering
Requirement Like
most online casinos, SuperCasino
will give you a free money
welcome bonus when you make your
first deposit. We mentioned at
the start of this review that
SuperCasino's welcome bonus is
"100% deposit match bonus, up to
£200 free" but you'll be
forgiven if you find things a bit
confusing at the casino's
website. We certainly
did. A
quick look at SuperCasino's
website homepage shows a couple
of prominent images, showing the
100% bonus, up to £200 free.
Clicking these images will take
you to the 'promotions' page
where this offer is confirmed.
However, there are other pages at
SuperCasino's website where a
different welcome bonus is
mentioned. The 'getting started'
page is one example of this,
where we are told the casino will
"match your initial deposit with
up to £1000 of our own
money". The same figure of
£1000 is again mentioned
further on the same page and it's
also mentioned on other
pages. This
inconsistency isn't great for
SuperCasino - newcomers to online
casinos can be notoriously
suspicious and so it's important
to do everything with clarity. We
suspect these mistakes are simply
a case of not updating all pages
when the welcome bonus has been
changed in the past but these are
easy mistakes to avoid. We
believe this to be nothing more
than a lazy mistake and not an
attempt to deceive players but
regardless of the intent, telling
a player they can claim a
£1000 welcome bonus if they
deposit £1000 and then
giving them a bonus of just
£200 is not going to win
friends. Not
all players will want to take the
welcome bonus from SuperCasino
and it's important that you
consider your options before you
start playing with any bonus
money. Free money bonuses are a
nice way to increase your
starting balance but they do come
with their own restrictions, in
the form of a 'wagering
requirement' - a minimum amount
of wagering that must be
completed before you can withdraw
any winnings. In the case of
SuperCasino, the wagering
requirement is 25 x your deposit
plus bonus. For example, if you
deposit £100 and get a
£100 bonus then your
wagering requirement will be
£5,000 (25 x £200). If
you deposit £200 to receive
the maximum £200 bonus then
your wagering requirement will be
£10,000. Not
all bets will count equally
towards the wagering
requirements. The following quote
comes direct from the casino's
terms and conditions: "Bets on
Blackjack, Video Poker games
(Jacks or Better, Aces and Faces,
etc.), Baccarat, Casino Hold'em,
2 Ways Royal, Craps and Sic Bo
games contribute 10% of actual
wagering on these games towards
Your Wagering Requirements. All
other Roulette, Slots and Instant
Win games contribute 100%,
excluding "low risk" Roulette
bets. Low risk Roulette bets are
bet spread combinations covering
25 or more (25-37 spots) of the
37 unique number spots on the
table. For example, if You bet on
Red and Black, You are covering
36 of the 37 possible outcomes
and this type of bet would
therefore not count at all
towards Your Wagering
Requirements." If
you do not wish to accept a
welcome bonus from SuperCasino
then you must contact one of
their Customer Service reps via
e-mail or their Live Chat
facility before making your first
deposit. That's the advice on the
casino's website, anyway.
However, read the FAQ pages and
you'll be told that "you will
need to accept bonuses before
completing your registration
form. If you have decided to
accept bonuses we will
automatically add on our first
deposit bonus" which does
rather imply that the bonus is
NOT automatically awarded. Again,
consistency is not a strength at
SuperCasino and we do have to
wonder if anyone is keeping an
eye on their website to ensure
these silly mistakes don't
happen. These
wagering requirements are pretty
standard for an online casino and
we've come across far more
restrictive terms at some other
casinos. However, before you
reach for your debit card and
make your first deposit, we urge
you to pay close attention to
some rather unpleasant terms and
conditions that we haven't even
touched on yet. Check out this
gem: "Where
You choose to receive Bonuses
from Us, and generate winnings
from such Bonuses, in excess of
Five Thousand Pounds (£5000)
and You subsequently request a
withdrawal, we reserve the right
to restrict such withdrawal to be
a maximum of Five Thousand Pounds
(£5000) in any 30 day
period." We
can't pretend to approve of this
term. SuperCasino are NOT telling
you that you can't win more than
£5,000 when using a bonus
but they ARE telling you that
it'll take you months to get your
hands on it. Win £30,000
from SuperCasino using your
welcome bonus and they can pay
you £5k a month, over the
next six months. That's just not
good enough and it serves as a
reminder to all players - read
those boring terms and conditions
before you hand over your
money. Banking Depositing
at SuperCasino is easy enough and
there are a number of ways to do
this. Most people use a credit or
debit card but you can also use
an e-wallet such as Moneybookers
or NETeller. According
to the casino's banking pages,
the minimum amount you can
deposit is just £20. The
same amount applies to your
withdrawals (cashouts) but you
can withdraw less than £20
if you're happy to pay a
£1.50 transaction
fee. The
maximum withdrawal amount is just
£5,000 but we assume you can
process multiple withdrawals if
you happen to hit a lucky streak.
However, the terms and conditions
at SuperCasino again kicked out a
nasty surprise - "we reserve
the right to limit Your Account
to a maximum of £25,000 in
net winnings generated within any
one calendar month" - which
is a shockingly low limit to
place on your
winnings. Summary SuperCasino
has much to offer. The live
dealer games are excellent and
loads of fun. Being able to watch
the games live on TV gives
SuperCasino a definite edge over
most of the competition and if
they hadn't included some
ridiculous terms and conditions,
they'd be getting a higher rating
than 3 stars. By
all means, try your luck at
SuperCasino. Chances are, you'll
like what you find here - unless
you hit a big win and lose some
of it to dodgy terms and
conditions. |
